1989 Honda Civic SI

Had 155,500 miles on it before the accident. Of ALL the cars I've owned, the SI was hands down the best. Not the best handling (that would have been my 1984 Volkswagen Rabbit GTI), but the best overall. It was quick, handled good, you could pack it full of just about anything, had a great stereo, and still got about 30MPG. On Monday, 1/31/05, Gen drove it to work while I took her 1993 Accord SE to the dealer, but had an accident on her way to pick me up. She was unhurt, thank god. The Civic was still drivable, but it was going to take about $1500 to repair it. I just wasn't willing to put the money back in her. Bought the 1996 Accord Wagon EX the following Friday

I sold the Civic to a guy for $700. He said he had some plans to strip the interior out, swap motors, and autocross it. I think she will make a perfect autocrosser!
